Mushroom crackers
Condiments Easy 90 min

This is a really fine cracker that you can easily make in large batches and store. I've used it for dipping in mushroom mayonnaise, just as it is, or with a piece of cheese.

Wild ingredients

Ingredients

  • 3 dl wheat flour
  • a little salt
  • 3 tbsp dried porcini powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 handful of sunflower seeds

Instructions

  1. Mix wheat flour, a little salt, and dried porcini powder. Add baking powder if you want a slightly airy cracker.
  2. Cut butter into cubes, and crumble it into the flour mixture. Use a small egg to bring the dough together, and add a handful of sunflower seeds.
  3. Let the dough rest in the fridge for an hour, then it's easier to roll out.
  4. Roll out the dough until it is about 1 cm thick. You can optionally place the dough between two pieces of parchment paper for easier rolling.
  5. Cut out crackers with a good cutter, and place them on parchment paper. They can also be cut into triangles. Bake the crackers for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees until golden.
