Assorted mushrooms and lingonberries

I have elsewhere in the book described how I once saw a dish in a cookbook that opened a new world for me. This is my version of the same dish.

Ingredients

  • mixed mushrooms
  • butter and oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • lingonberries

Instructions

  1. Find as many different mushrooms as you can. Preferably with many different textures.
  2. Cut them into suitable pieces, and fry them together in a pan in half butter, half oil.
  3. Remember not to put too many in the pan at once, as it can end up as boiled mushrooms instead of fried mushrooms.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, and serve with lingonberries from the forest.
