In Spain, the spruce milk cap and the saffron milk cap are valued, and there I've had a simple sauté with garlic and parsley several times. It is something I've brought home.

  • oak milk caps
  • garlic
  • good olive oil
  • Serving:
  • parsley
  • lemon

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms, and cut them into quarters.
  2. Fry 2 cloves of garlic in a good Spanish olive oil.
  3. Add plenty of chopped parsley just before serving, and a quarter lemon on the side.
  4. Close your eyes, and dream yourself south.
